Andrew graduated from the University of Otago in NZ in 1987 and came to Australia in 1989. He was a GP in East Kew for 20 years before joining Blackburn Clinic in September 2016, in a part time capacity. Andrew now works ad-hoc sessions only so he’s mainly available for appointments made same day. He is married and has two sons and enjoys all aspects of General Practice.

Fees charged by Dr Andrew Broad –

Dr Broad’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Pensioners, Health Care Card holders, children and full time students under 21 will be charged a substantially discounted fee, with their out of pocket gap reduced by 50% for standard consultations.

Patients who hold a DVA card are billed according to DVA Guidelines (see https://www.dva.gov.au/access-benefits/veteran-card). Visits by Gold card holders are almost always billed to DVA, while visits by White card holders can only be billed to DVA for eligible conditions.

Missed Appointment fee:  Dr Broad may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least one hours’ notice.
