Anna is an enthusiastic and passionate GP who returned to Blackburn Clinic in 2026. Anna completed part of her registrar training time with us from Aug 2024-Feb 2025. During 2025, Anna did a caravan trip around Australia with her partner, including doing short stints of work in WA, Qld and remote NT. She is delighted to be back as part of the Blackburn community, providing holistic care for all patients. Anna has interests in women’s health (particularly fertility, pregnancy and menopause), paediatrics, skin cancer medicine and chronic disease prevention.
Fees charged by Dr Anna Church – from 5 January 2026
Dr Church’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Pensioners, Health Care Card holders, children and full time students under 21 will be charged a substantially discounted fee, with their out of pocket gap reduced by 50% for standard consultations.
Patients who hold a DVA card are billed according to DVA Guidelines (see https://www.dva.gov.au/access-benefits/veteran-card). Visits by Gold card holders are almost always billed to DVA, while visits by White card holders can only be billed to DVA for eligible conditions.

Missed Appointment fee: Dr Church may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least one hours’ notice.

Weight Management
30 minutes for initial appointment, subsequent appointments are 15 minutes. The out of pocket gaps for Initial Weight Management appointments (after Medicare rebates) are shown in the table above. Follow up weight management appointments should be booked as Standard Appointments and will attract a standard consultation fee.
