Dr Jenny Huynh is a caring and highly accomplished endocrinologist with a passion for treating a range of endocrine disorders. She offers consultations in general endocrinology, including diabetes, thyroid disorders and osteoporosis. She has a particular interest in the management of obesity and its related comorbidities and has helped countless patients to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. She is also interested in endocrine disorders that affect pregnancy and can provide pre-pregnancy counselling to women with type 1 and type 2 diabetes who are hoping to conceive.
Dr Huynh received her medical degree from University of Melbourne and completed her specialist endocrine training at Austin Health and Mercy Hospital for Women. She has previously worked in the Obesity Management Clinic at Austin Hospital and continues to provide a weight loss service in her private practice. She has performed clinical research in the field of diabetes in pregnancy and her work received recognition through the Australian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society’s Young Investigator Award. Dr Huynh currently holds a public appointment at Western Health and Joan Kirner Women and Children’s Hospital. She is a member of Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian and New Zealand Obesity Society, Australian Diabetes Society, Australian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society, and Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand.

She delivers a comprehensive and individualised service and takes the time to understand each patient’s unique situation, working with them to develop a personalised treatment plan that will help them achieve their health goals.
